Class 6 student wins Raman Young Science Innovator National award

Karunagappally Kerala India : Thejas Shyamlal, a class 6 student of Puthiyakavu Amritha Vidyalayam, bagged the Raman Young Science Innovator National award.The award was presented to 41 students selected from more than 13,000 applicants between classes 5 and 7 from various parts of the country.The award is instituted by Raman Research Institute with the aim of encouraging students to make explorations using simple materials and to approach science in a fun manner. Raman Research Institute bestows the ‘School of Science Excellence’ award for excellent performing schools as well. Puthiyakavu Amritha Vidyalayam hasbagged this award for the past 2 years.Principal Swamini Sree charanamrithaprana conveyed happiness on receiving the award. The award was presented to 41 students selected from more than 13,000 applicants between classes 5 and 7 from various parts of the country.
